CLI-MET partner METREX will hold its Spring Conference in the Helsinki metropolitan area from 10 to 12 June 2026.
The conference will focus on how cities and metropolitan regions can respond to interconnected sustainability challenges by developing solutions that generate multiple benefits. The programme will address holistic sustainability in spatial planning, with attention to climate action, biodiversity, social sustainability, regional planning, and the role of knowledge and data in supporting better decisions.
The event will bring together planners, researchers, practitioners, and representatives of metropolitan regions to exchange experiences, discuss current challenges, and share practices from different European contexts.
