Palermo International Intensive Programme – Save the date

Cli-Met will hold its first International Intensive Programme in Palermo from 11 to 17 November 2026, bringing together students, researchers, practitioners and experts for an international learning experience focused on climate action at the metropolitan scale.

Event information
The first Cli-Met International Intensive Programme will bring together students, researchers, practitioners and experts for an international and interdisciplinary learning experience focused on climate action in metropolitan areas.
Through lectures, international case studies, exchanges with academics and practitioners, and field-based activities, participants will explore how metropolitan areas can translate climate objectives into governance arrangements, planning strategies and local action.
The programme will comprise 30 hours over five teaching days, organised in two blocks on 11–13 and 16–17 November. Activities will be held in English and participation will be free of charge.
